About Milis Candles

Milis candles are created by Fiona at her kitchen table in the beautiful Dunmore East located in Co. Waterford.   Not only does Fiona make all her candles by hand in her workshop at home, she is also a mum to two young boys and working full time as an oncology nurse! 

Milis candles are made using natural, recyclable, re-usable or ethically sourced materials. Fiona uses 100% natural soy wax, wicks made from cotton and paper. The oils used to produce the scent are a mix of essential oils and high quality fragrance oils which are phatlate free and vegan.  Fiona believes in choosing the best ingredients and providing the best quality treat for a sustainable indulgence.

How to look after your Milis Candle:

• Keep your wick trimmed to 4mm – this will ensure a long and even burn.
• Keep your Milis candle clean - remove any match debris or trimmed wicks from the candle before lighting 
• When the wick has a little curl at the end, please make sure to remove it.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.Keep your candle out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not move candle when lit or if the wax is still liquid as the glass jar will be hot
• Do not place a candle on surfaces that could be damaged by the heat.
• Do not use your candle if the glass is chipped or cracked
