Your receipt is emailed to you, it is never shipped with your order.

FAQs about your subscription:
When will my first subscription box ship?
Subscription boxes ship on the 1st working day of every month. If the 1st of the month is a weekend or bank holiday, subscription boxes will ship on the next working day. If you would like the first subscription box to ship early or on a different date just reply back to your confirmation email and we will take care of that for you.
Can you send the first box to me and the rest to the recipient?
Absolutely, just contact us here or reply to your confirmation email with your request and we can do that no problem.
Is there a voucher I can give to the recipient?
Yes, in your confirmation email there is a link to an e-voucher that you can
print. Alternatively, we can also post you a physical voucher for you to give
to the recipient or we can post it to the recipient on your behalf. Just
contact us here or reply to your confirmation email with your request.
What is the last order dates for subscription boxes?
The day before the 1st of the month, eg the 30th/31st of every month.
What if I already read the book?
If this does happen, please accept our apologies. Just contact us here and
let us know and we will pop another book into next months subscription box for you. **applies to
Ireland and north of Ireland only**
You do not need to send us the first book back. Please gift/donate or pass
on the first book to someone you know who would like it.

Came across this gem while searching online for a present for a reading fanatic..I purchased the 6 month subscription . I received my first box within a few days in a lovely black box with book ,candle ,chocolate and lovely card . I am so looking forward to giving this present on Christmas day and letting her know that she has 5 more presents to look forward to ... I've purchased a three month subscription for my mother's Christmas present and the team were so responsive and helpful - I had extra queries about nut allergies and wanted the first month to come to me rather then go direct to her!
The packaging and presentation is beautifully stylish, I'm rather envious that I couldn't open it myself when it arrived but it's now under the tree for Christmas Day!

Having chanced upon The Book Resort in a list of Irish online retailers, I was intrigued and thought it would be a lovely Christmas present for a friend. Sure enough, it was exactly that! The box is beautifully presented and contains lovely items. The book itself was well chosen, but my friend had read it. Would this be a problem? Absolutely not. Once I notified Aisling, she dispatched a replacement which arrived much sooner than I expected. Overall, I can't recommend Aisling (who is lovely on the phone and clearly there for her customers) and the Book Resort highly enough!
