We want every monthly delivery to feel like a treat. If you've already read the book we've chosen, simply let us know and we'll include an additional book in your next box at no extra cost.
There's no need to return the original book—you can keep it, pass it on to a friend or donate it to a local charity shop. We love seeing books enjoyed by as many people as possible.
We first introduced this promise during the Covid pandemic because we didn't want customers making unnecessary trips to the post office. We continue to offer it today because it gives our customers peace of mind when trying our service.

How is every book chosen?
Every month, we personally review new releases, Irish authors and bestselling fiction before selecting books for our subscription boxes. Every title is chosen because we think our subscribers will enjoy it.
Why are your book choices different?
Every book is chosen by a real reader. We carefully consider quality, genre, current releases and customer preferences before deciding what goes into each box.
Why do you include artisan Irish gifts?
We wanted every delivery to feel like opening a beautifully wrapped gift rather than simply receiving a book in the post. That's why each box includes artisan Irish chocolate and a carefully chosen gift from an Irish business.
What if I've already read the book?
If you've already read our selection, just contact us and we'll include another book in your next box at no extra cost. You don't need to return the original book.
When will my first subscription box ship?
Subscription boxes are dispatched from Waterford on the 1st of each month. If the 1st of the month falls on a weekend or bank holiday, your box will be dispatched on the next working day.
Need your first box sooner? Simply reply to your order confirmation email or contact us, and we'll ship your first subscription box whenever you like.
When is the monthly subscription cut off?
To receive our next subscription box, just subscribe by the final day of the previous month. For example, subscribe by 31 July to receive the August box, or by 30 September to receive the October box
When will my payment be processed?
Your first payment is taken when you place your order. After that, your subscription automatically renews every 30 days until you pause or cancel it.
Can I pause, change, or cancel my subscription?
Absolutely! You're always in control of your subscription. You can pause it, change your payment date, update your preferred genres or cancel at any time through your account. Prefer us to do it for you? Contact us and we'll happily take care of it. There is no notice period on our standard monthly subscription.
Can I send the first box to myself and the remaining boxes to the recipient?
Of course! Simply place your order using your own address so the first box is delivered to you. When you're ready, you can change the delivery address in your account for the remaining boxes, or just reply to your confirmation email or contact us and we'll take care of it for you. The rest of the subscription will then be sent straight to the recipient.
Is there a voucher I can give to the recipient?
Yes. Your confirmation email includes a link to a a printable e-voucher. If you would prefer a printed gift voucher, just reply to your confirmation email or contact us let us know after placing your order and we'll happily post one to you or directly to the recipient.
Is this monthly subscription suitable as a gift?
Yes, it is a wonderful gift to receive. A monthly book subscription is a lovely gift for birthdays, retirements, thank-yous, milestones or simply to let someone know you are thinking of them. Leave your message in the cart and our team will write it by hand for you.
Will the receipt or price be included in the box?
No. Your receipt is emailed directly to you, and we never include prices, receipts or invoices inside any of our subscription or gift boxes.
Where do you deliver monthly subscription boxes?
We proudly offer free delivery throughout all 32 counties of Ireland. We also ship to the UK and selected destinations across Europe.
