The Book Resort is an Irish family run book subscription and gifting company based in Waterford. We deliver luxury gift boxes, beautifully presented with wonderful new books, delicious chocolate and artisan surprises to book lovers worldwide every day. 

Subscriptions and a range of once off gift boxes are available with a gorgeous handwritten card included if you wish. The majority of our suppliers are Irish (even our boxes are made in Ireland) and we offer our customers complimentary shipping in Ireland (and the north of Ireland). Each standard subscription box will have a brilliant new book, a large delicious bar of chocolate & a little artisan gift (curated for males & females) from a small Irish business. You can choose the genre of the book in the checkout. Standard subscriptions are €35 per month and can be paid monthly or in advance.

We also have a bespoke subscription option where you can mix and match the contents of your box. If you fancy 2 bars of gourmet chocolate every month? Or maybe you don't care about anything else and just want the books? Would you like a large surprise from an Irish company instead of chocolate? Or maybe no surprise? Each bespoke box starts off with a book from a genre of your choosing and you can add as many or as few extras as you wish. Bespoke subscriptions start at €23 per month.   

Shipping Schedule

Subscription boxes ship on the 1st working day of every month. If the 1st of the month is a weekend or bank holiday, subscription boxes will ship on the next working day.

One time gift boxes ship 1-2 working days after you order. We ship boxes every day and we have excellent inventory control so there should be no delay with your box being shipped.

We are very conscious of the environment and keen to minimise our impact on the planet.

Our black signature boxes are FSC accredited.  FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, which means it meets the "gold standard" ethical production.

Our tissue paper is reusable and recyclable and our mailing bags are recyclable too.

If you are a subscriber and this does happen, please accept our apologies. Just contact us here and let us know and we will pop an extra book in next months subscription box.  This applies to Ireland and the north of Ireland only.

If you have received a one time gift box with a book you have read already, please contact us.

You do not need to send us the first book back. Please gift/donate or pass on the first book to someone you know who would like it.
