The Book Resort is a 100% Irish, family run gifting and book subscription comapny based in Waterford.  We deliver luxury gift boxes, beautifully presented with wonderful new books, delicious chocolate and artisan surprises to book lovers worldwide every day. 

Subscriptions and a range of once off gift boxes are available, all with a gorgeous hand written card included if you wish.  The majorrity of our suppliers are Irish (even our boxes are made in Ireland) and we offer our customers complimentary shipping in Ireland and the north of Ireland.

Your standard subscription box will have a brillant new book in a genre of your choice, a large delicious bar of chocolate & a little artisan gift from a small Irish business.  Standard subscriptions are €34.95 per month and can be paid monthly or in advance.

A bespoke subscription allows you to curate your own subscription box and options start at €24.95 per month.

Shipping Schedule

Subscription boxes ship on the 1st working day of every month. If the 1st of the month is a weekend or bank holiday, subscription boxes will ship on the next working day.

One time gift boxes ship 1-2 working days after you order. We ship boxes every day and we have excellent inventory control so there should be no delay with your box being shipped.

We are very conscious of the environment and keen to minimise our impact on the planet.

Our black signature boxes are FSC accredited.  FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, which means it meets the "gold standard" ethical production.

Our tissue paper is reusable and recyclable and our mailing bags are recyclable too.

There is a box at the bottom of your cart and you can pop your message in here.  

Our cards are A6 in size and designed by an art student in Kilkenny and printed in Waterford.  We write your message and put the card into a envelope and wrap it up with everything in your gift box.

If you miss the message box and complete your order, don't worry - just reply back to your confirmation email with the message you would like.  We will reply and confirm that we have received your message.  You can use the online chat too if you prefer or message us on Instagram - whichever is easiest for you.

If you are a subscriber and this does happen, please accept our apologies. Just contact us here and let us know and we will pop an extra book in next months subscription box.  This applies to Ireland and the north of Ireland only.

If you have received a one time gift box with a book you have read already, please contact us.

You do not need to send us the first book back. Please gift/donate or pass on the first book to someone you know who would like it.
