I ordered a gift box for my Mum for her birthday, she was absolutely delighted with it. It ended up being a gift for my Dad too, as he read the book afterwards. They said it arrived beautifully wrapped and presented. It was the first time I've ordered with The Book Resort and they were very friendly and approachable for customer care and support. Really pleased with their service, so much so that I've ordered another gift box for Father's Day. 5 stars doesn't seem enough. Aisling couldn't have been more helpful in sorting out my request for a bespoke package. Truly rare in this day and age of chatbot's!

Easy website to use with options to pick a hamper or to create your own. I went with create, great selection of goods and once checked out there was regular updates to track delivery.
Person that received the delivery was delighted and the handwritten card really added to the gift. Thanks!

Ordered a gift for my girlfriend and The Book Resort went above and beyond in delivering.
They were so helpful and shipped as needed, included a custom message for my partner.
Upon receiving I found out they also included an extra birthday card - just fantastic service couldn't recommend enough
As for the contents of the box, it was all a luxury treat described to me as "very bougie". Girlfriend was delighted and can't wait for her next box.

Just took delivery of our first order from the Book Resort. What a great service! Personally delivered in Waterford area, personalised card, all Irish products, beautifully presented. Wont go wrong here. Look them up!

I have sent Book Resort subscriptions/boxes as gifts a couple of times and have just now received my first one of my own. It's such a brilliant idea, the products are beautiful and so nicely presented. Such a way to brighten someone's day! (I can see that more now from the receiving end!) You can see the care put into the selection and packaging, and it's fantastic to see such an emphasis on Irish products. I had to email with a query and the response from Aisling was so efficient, friendly and she even phoned me in the evening to clarify everything. Flawless customer service as well as an amazing service and product.

The Book Resort is a brilliant service, I’ve used it twice to send gift boxes as birthday presents and both recipients loved the gifts. Great way to support Irish companies, would highly recommend.

Lucky enough to happen upon the Book Resort in their early days. Fantastic then, but they have an even better selection of gifts curated now in addition to books. You can order easily online and the delivery service is superb. Any time I have called for advice re a book choice they have always been friendly, interested and helpful. The gifts are beautifully packaged too.......I wish someone would send me one!!!!
Second time sending a Book resort gift box to a friend for a birthday . Wow great service and products . This time the gift went to Uk and I was nervous would it arrive on time ? YES is the answer ! I can’t recommend these gift boxes enough my friend delighted and rose petals in the box a lovely touch . I was able to track the delivery and knew where the parcel was. This business is offering a great service and lovely books and treats don’t hesitate to treat yourself or a friend.

Fabulous gift boxes with a huge variety of goods. Choice is excellent and gift boxes are a very high standard. Will definitely buy again. This one is on its way to New Zealand for a special sisters birthday!!! She will love it for sure. And all the goods are Irish which is a big plus. Thanks again

I've ordered from book resort a few times this year and it's fantastic! Aisling is so lovely, and the boxes themselves are amazing. I've gifted short subscriptions and individual boxes, and then ordered one for myself because I was dying to have one of my own. It's so we'll thought out and beautifully delivered can't recommend it enough!

I love my monthly box. I get several books and treats and it's always something I enjoy. I got one that I already had and the day after I got a replacement after a quick email. Really, really recommend it. You can customise and the box arrives the day after it's sent and you can track it.

I have used the book resort three times now and everytime im blown away by the service. I emailed today as I had not received a tracking number from fastway and aishling had it all sorted straight away. I emailed previously as I forgot to pick a genre and they were so quick to confirm my choice.Cannot wait to give my mam the box for mothers day. I have a monthly subscription box for my Aunt and she absolutely adores it. The excitement of the box every month with gift, chocolate and a good book just feels so special, she has said she never would have picked the books she receives but has loved all of them and it has opened up her taste in reading.
I have also gotten the birthday boxes and one off boxes and everyone has loved them. I have made requests for small changes to the boxes and Aisling has always been so fantastic and accommodating about it, it has never been an issue.
I think if I am ever sending a gift by post this would be my preferred gift, has more of an impact than a bunch of flowers and everyone has loved it so much so far.

Brilliant customer service from beginning to end and one happy recipient with her happy birthday jade box .Says the soap smells incredible and the books are ones she had actually been looking at for herself recently so can only assume they are new releases.Massive bonus was that there was no issue or hassle with delivering in northern Ireland which can be a massive headache for us when sorting presents.

Absolutely loved my December box and got my January one today. A lovely treat in a mad world. Have just ordered for a friend :)

I ordered boxes for my niece and nephews for Christmas, they were all thrilled with their presents, all beautifully packaged and arrived on time. I was really impressed and have since ordered two more boxes for family members, they have gone down a treat, all again beautifully packaged and excellent quality products. Received one of their boxes as a gift and would absolutely recommend it, so much thought goes into them. They also were very helpful in arranging for the box to be re-delivered to me after I missed the first delivery (through no fault of their own).
Having chanced upon The Book Resort in a list of Irish online retailers, I was intrigued and thought it would be a lovely Christmas present for a friend. Sure enough, it was exactly that! The box is beautifully presented and contains lovely items. The book itself was well chosen, but my friend had read it. Would this be a problem? Absolutely not. Once I notified Aisling, she dispatched a replacement which arrived much sooner than I expected. Overall, I can't recommend Aisling (who is lovely on the phone and clearly there for her customers) and the Book Resort highly enough!
