How the Double Your First Box subscription works
1. Choose your favourite genre
Tell us the kinds of books you or the recipient enjoy and we will choose the books.
2. Pay the usual €37.95
Your first monthly payment is €37.95 — the same as our standard monthly subscription.
3. We double your first box
Everything in the box is doubled, so you receive two books, two big bars of chocolate and two gifts.
4. A new subscription box arrives each month
After the doubled first box, we send a new subscription box each month. This offer requires a minimum of six monthly payments.
A simple six-month commitment
This offer gives you double the contents in your first subscription box in return for a minimum commitment of six monthly payments of €37.95.
After the six-payment minimum has been completed, the subscription continues monthly until you cancel it or contact us to cancel it.

If you've already read a book we've chosen, simply let us know and we'll include an additional book in your next box at no extra cost.
There is no need to return the original book.

What exactly is doubled in my first box?
Everything in the box is doubled, so you receive two books, two big bars of chocolate and two gifts. Your first payment remains €37.95.
How long is the minimum commitment?
This offer requires a minimum of six monthly payments of €37.95.
What happens if I cancel before six payments?
If you cancel before the minimum six payments have been completed, an additional €37.95 charge applies for the extra contents included in your first subscription box.
When will my first subscription box ship?
Subscription boxes ship from Waterford on the first working day of each month. If the 1st falls on a weekend or bank holiday, boxes ship on the next working day.
Can I send the first box to myself and the remaining boxes to the recipient?
Yes. Place the order using the address where you would like the first box sent, then reply to your confirmation email or contact us and we can arrange for the remaining boxes to go directly to the recipient.
Is there a voucher I can give to the recipient?
Yes. Your confirmation email includes a link to a printable e-voucher. If you would prefer a printed gift voucher, reply to your confirmation email or contact us after placing your order and we can post one to you or directly to the recipient.
When will my payment be processed?
Your first payment of €37.95 is processed when you sign up. The subscription then renews every 30 days.
What happens after the six-payment minimum?
After the minimum six payments have been completed, the subscription continues monthly until you cancel it or contact us to cancel it.
What if I've already read the book?
Just let us know and we'll include another book in your next box at no extra cost. You do not need to return the original book.
Can this offer be combined with another offer?
No. The Double Your First Subscription Box offer cannot be used with another offer.
