Gift Delivery in Ireland: How It Works
Sending a gift to someone in Ireland should be fairly straightforward. Choose the gift, tell us where it’s going and what you’d like written on the card, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How does gift delivery in Ireland work?
You choose your gift online and enter the recipient’s delivery address when ordering. Add your personal message in the cart and we’ll handwrite it on a card to go with the gift.
You can also choose your preferred shipping date in the cart. This is particularly useful if you’re ordering ahead for a birthday, anniversary, new home or another occasion and don’t want the hamper sent straight away.
We pack your gift in Waterford and send it directly to the recipient using tracked delivery.
There’s no need to have the gift sent to yourself first, repackage it and head off to the post office. We do that part for you.
How long does gift delivery take in Ireland?
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched the same working day. Orders placed after 3pm, at weekends or on bank holidays are normally dispatched on the next working day.
Once dispatched, delivery within the Republic of Ireland usually takes 1–2 working days.
Delivery is tracked, so you can follow the parcel once it has been sent.
If timing is particularly important, remember that dispatch date and delivery date aren't the same thing. We can control when your hamper leaves us, but the final delivery is made by the carrier.
Can I choose the date my gift is sent?
Yes.
When you reach the cart, you'll see the option to choose your preferred shipping date.
That means you can order well in advance and ask us to hold the gift until the date you've selected. If you don't choose a shipping date, we'll prepare and dispatch your order as soon as possible.
One important distinction: the date you choose is the shipping date, not a guaranteed delivery date.
For example, if someone's birthday is on a Friday, don't automatically choose Friday as the shipping date. Allow time for the parcel to travel from us in Waterford to the recipient.
Can I order a gift now for a birthday or occasion later?
Absolutely. In fact, this is one of the reasons we added the shipping-date calendar.
You don't need to remember to come back and order a birthday gift next Tuesday or hope you'll remember an anniversary at the end of the month.
Order when you think of it, choose the appropriate shipping date in the cart and we'll hold the order until then.
One less thing to remember.
Can I send the gift directly to the recipient?
Yes. Most gifts can be sent straight to the person receiving them.
Enter their address as the delivery address and add the message you'd like included in the cart.
We'll handwrite your message on a card and include it with the hamper.
Your receipt isn't included in the parcel, so the recipient won't open their present to find the price sitting on top.
Can I order from abroad and send a gift to someone in Ireland?
Yes. You can order through our website from outside Ireland and have the gift delivered directly to someone here.
This can be particularly handy if you're living in the UK, United States, Australia, Canada or elsewhere and want to send something to family, friends or colleagues in Ireland without posting an international parcel yourself.
Your order is prepared by our team in Waterford and dispatched from within Ireland to the recipient.
What kind of gifts can I have delivered?
It depends very much on who you're buying for and why.

What if I need a gift delivered quickly?
If you've remembered the birthday slightly later than planned, start with our next day delivery gifts.
Orders placed before 3pm Monday to Friday are usually dispatched from Waterford that day.
Remember, though, that same-day dispatch doesn't mean guaranteed next-day delivery. Normal delivery times still apply once the parcel has left us.

Ordering a gift for delivery in Ireland
